Ever since I was young, my family has been really big into road trips, camping trips and just adventures altogether. Just last week during the 1 week break, we decided to drive from Alice Springs and Uluru for the second time. For those of you who don't know, the drive from Darwin to Alice is around 14-15 hours, including stops for breaks. I don't know about you guys, but a 15 hour car ride can be extremely exhausting and boring. So I've decided to let you in on some of my must have essentials when travelling on the road.

1. A pillow: The most important thing I feel the need to bring is a pillow. These are great to put up against the car door and sleep for half of the trip! 😂
2. Phone & headphones: Nothing is more relaxing than listening to your beats whilst starring into the distance pretending you're in a music video.
3. Jumper or blanket: On this trip I took a jumper because it does get quite cool in the car sometimes.
4. Snacks: It is hard when you're driving and you can't always stop on the side of the road to have something to eat. So I make sure that I have tons of food to stuff my face with when my stomach starts to rumble.
5. Lipbalm: I cannot go anywhere without my NatureCare glossy lipbalm so this is a must 🙌🏽
These are mainly the things I take with me. If I have these, I'm all set. Comment down below where you've taken a road trip to and with who. Stayed tuned for the next blog post x
Love, Erica xx
